GTNT has been operating as a non-for-profit organisation since 1989 and is the largest employer of apprentices and trainees in the Northern Territory with offices in Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs. At GTNT, we take pride in the work we do and strive for excellence by creating parity through training and employment. Through the attraction, retention and development of people, GTNT’s workforce development strategy is designed to recruit and enhance workforce capabilities to ensure greater staff retention and increased productivity through workplace planning and development, enabling businesses and individuals across the Territory to grow and be productive. We also specialise in Indigenous employment and provide many opportunities in remote communities.
GTNT offers a large range of services to numerous clients across multiple industries. We partner with many training providers and government stakeholders across the Territory to introduce programs for development and training. In our regional areas, we provide opportunities to individuals who are faced with limited availabilities due to living in a rural environment to gain employment. We work closely with industry leaders to make sure that the needs of our industries are fulfilled with skilled workers and we assist year 12 graduates and school-leavers with finding work placement to get them started on a career path.
